JANETTE GIBSON
Janette Gibson’s work explores the beauty of everyday objects.
With an MA in Textile Design and working as a freelance print designer selling worldwide, Janette was inspired to explore the medium of printmaking further.
This recent series of prints explores her eclectic collection of vintage kitchen utensils. Developing photographic etching and relief techniques, she has simplified and abstracted the image that invites the viewer to discover new forms.
Exhibiting widely with Printmakers Council and Kentish Town Printmakers as well as group shows in London and Brighton, her work is held in private collections and the V&A.
